reNew Thrift Store opened in April 2018 in Red Deer, Alberta. reNew sells used goods at an affordable price to people in the community. Clothes, shoes, home decor, furniture, books and jewelry are some of the many things you can find at our store! Come check us out during business hours and pick up some great new-to-you items!
reNew Thrift Store is a Not for Profit Society which is governed by an independent board. All profits from the store will stay in the community. Currently the board has decided to fund a downtown soup Kitchen where approximately 850 meals are served weekly. As profits grow, the board of directors, at its discretion, will determine how best to utilize the funds for the benefit of the community.
When you donate, shop and volunteer at reNew you are supporting the local community. The profits are not sent away, but they stay right here. Each item donated, object purchased and hour volunteered truly makes a difference. A huge thank you to our donors, customers and volunteers for being a part of something incredible.
Giving Back
reNew is a Non-Profit Society which means all profits earned will be given back to the local community.
Due to the amazing support of our customers, donors, volunteers and staff, reNew was able to donate our first profits to Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre and Potters Hands Soup Kitchen here in Red Deer. We want to say a huge thank you to anyone that has shopped, donated or volunteered at reNew and for being a part of something great. We couldn't do it without you all.
